HELLO: Area counts have gone up. Our case counts in Harrison County have continued to rise over the last two weeks. I’m afraid to look at the deaths.
Below is some Jan 17 Data taken from THE TEXAS TRIBUNE who look at most of their data over TWO WEEK INTERVALS which helps normalize inconsistent and inaccurate reporting:
The chart below shows current area data from TEXAS HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT. Notice that our 17 January counts were higher than those of Gregg and Smith Counties despite their larger populations and more frequent and intensive Covid testing. We apparently are doing some
things very wrong in Harrison County.
