Very enjoyable, starting with the T-shirt with words aligned to be read between the lapels of George’s sports coat: Careful, or you’ll end up in my novel. As a Yankee newsman of approximately the same vintage as GS, I most appreciated his daily goal of “Everyday to put out a perfect newspaper.” And the Texas down-home-isms in George’s routine are priceless. Once you begin an anecdote – a syrupy southern accent – with the name Chubby Cook, the listener is already smiling.
